Let’s talk about entrepreneurship and how digital tools can help you create your own job! Join our five-day workshop in Arviat, May 13-17 at the Arviat Business Training Centre!
Watch for our tent at the Fishing Derby May 18-20 for prizes!
We are looking for up to 15 Arviat residents to explore with us how you can use digital tools and technology – photography, video, drones, apps, and others – to communicate your traditions, ideas, skills and interests – and create your own business.
We’d like to spend time with you exploring technology, taking it out into the land, telling stories, and exploring values and ideas.
Together, we will:
Learn how creative technologies can help transform your skills and experience into jobs.
Connect with an Alaska community that is exploring the same ideas.
We will also:
Discover how others are using technology to create businesses.
Learn about ways the Hamlet office can assist with small business creation.
Test new technologies!
