BUILDING HEALTHY BODIES THROUGH STORYTELLING

2013 – 2014
Digital Literacy and Storytelling

The Canadian Institute of Child Health (CICH) worked with youth and community-based organizations in Arviat, Nunavut to provide Inuit families with support and information on healthy food choices and the importance of regular physical activity.

Youth designed and developed six storybooks with activity suggestions for young readers and parents to encourage healthy growing bodies. We thank The Coca-Cola Canada Foundation for their financial contribution to this project.
